Veezeet in Claude and ChatGPT

Plan a trip in conversation and keep it in Veezeet. The assistant works on your own trips, signed in as you: what it adds appears in Veezeet, and what you change there, it reads next time.

Before you start

  • A Veezeet account (free). Create one at veezeet.com.
  • Claude: a plan that supports custom connectors. ChatGPT: a plan with apps or developer mode enabled.

Add it to Claude

  • Open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
  • Name it Veezeet and enter the server address: https://api.veezeet.com/planner/mcp
  • Click Connect and sign in to Veezeet when asked, then approve the access.
  • In a conversation, enable Veezeet from the tools menu.

Add it to ChatGPT

  • Open Settings, then Apps (or Connectors), then Create.
  • Name it Veezeet and enter the server address: https://api.veezeet.com/planner/mcp
  • Choose OAuth, click Create, and sign in to Veezeet when asked.
  • In a conversation, add Veezeet from the tools menu.

  • “Plan five days in Lisbon in May for two, slow pace, and keep it in Veezeet.”
  • “Put the Sunday on my Kyoto trip in order so the walking is short.”
  • “Add five hotels near the old town to my Rome trip as options, and tell me which fits our budget.”
  • “I have 30 minutes: what can I tick off on my trips?”
  • “What changed on our Porto trip since I last looked?”

What the assistant can do

Each action below is a tool. Tools that only read are marked as such to your assistant, which can run them without asking. Tools that change or delete something are marked too, and the assistant asks before using them unless you allow it.

  • Trips: list_trips, get_trip, create_trip, update_trip, delete_trip, set_trip_context, set_trip_people, undo_changes, get_planning_guide.
  • Days and places: add_days, update_day, remove_day, add_items, update_item, move_items, remove_items, set_item_state, place_stay, optimize_day_route.
  • Options and decisions: add_options, update_option, remove_options, choose_option, vote_option, reopen_decision, set_decision_deadline, like_item, unlike_item.
  • Reservations you already hold: add_reservations, update_reservation, remove_reservations. Veezeet records them; it never books.
  • To-dos, notes and lists: add_todos, update_todo, remove_todos, list_todos_that_fit, add_notes, update_note, remove_notes, add_list_entries, update_list_entry, remove_list_entries.
  • Comments: add_comment, list_comments, delete_comment, get_item.
  • Places: search_places, get_place, list_ideas_near, list_known_places.
  • Import: start_import, get_import, accept_import.
  • Sharing: list_members, invite_member, update_member_role, remove_member, set_public_link.
  • Keeping up: get_for_you, mark_seen, get_notification_preferences, set_notification_preferences, get_pending_action.
  • Feedback: send_feedback, only when you ask.

Good to know

  • Everything the assistant does is attributed to it in the trip's history, and undo_changes reverts it.
  • Deleting a trip needs your confirmation in Veezeet.
  • Veezeet never books or pays. Hotels and activities the assistant suggests are options for your plan.
  • Remove access at any time in Claude or ChatGPT settings. See the privacy policy for what is read and written.
